Tidal Wave Auto Spa | Car Wash

Excellent facility. The workers are competent and polite. Recently the owner? manager? has twice approached me angry and rude. If this brutish guy is not the owner, someone needs to know of his actions. The man's name is Manager Dan Richard's. As stated above, he was twice aggressive and very angry. Today, it was evident he canceled my membership. An 80 year old woman - and a very happy customer for several years I am stunned. His actions were rude, sexist and ageist. All service by all other attendants has been polite and helpful. I have loved Tidal Wave until now.

All of the staff members on Sunday July 12th deserve a raise! They were so accommodating to my preferences. Their kindness goes a long way! I’ll definitely be returning.

**Damage** please read full. I am a loyal customer to American Pride Carwash off of New Bern in Raleigh NC, however, today I just happened to be in the Cary/apex area and really needed to get my car washed. A friend suggested Tidal Wave, so I took a chance on them. Before entering the carwash a older gentleman started brushing down my hood, windows and back with a large bodied brush (which made scratchy noises against my car), I really didn’t think much of it until I had gone through the car wash and pulled up to a slot to start vaccuming. Almost immediately did I notice large brush scratch marks across the hood of my car (which I get washed once a week). These were in a brush stroke pattern, extending across the front, and onto the other side. Very visible. When I brought it to the attention of the staff they laughed under their breathes and didn’t take me seriously at first after showing the extent of the damage AND showing them I was serious about reporting it, then the older gentleman was easier to deal with. This car is less than 2 years old, only 80,000 miles, clean kept, it is BABIED. To have grown men smirk and laugh at the damage done to my vehicle made this situation 10x

This is an amazing carwash I go out of my way to come here. I appreciate the consistency of the wash process. I am never waiting in line for too long. I also love the amenities that are offered. Most places will just have vacuum's and they are clogged half of the time. I like the 2 different vacuum nozzles and the compressed air. Every time I come the towels are always stocked and ready. The site is also always clean here: keep up the good work Dan and his team!

Been there today, 3/13/2025. The staff was friendly, and the car was washed — so that's a plus. Sadly, the wash quality left much to be desired. Maybe my expectations were too high — I thought the whole car can be clean after an $18 wash. Alas, not this time. Wheels, the bottom of the windshield, and rubber sealants at the bottom of all windows remained dirty. And an occasional bird poop stayed right where it was before the wash. I did not have the time to speak with the manager, and, frankly, do not want to return — I had a better experience at another car wash.
